During a speech and language screening a speech-language pathologist quickly and informally checks a child's speech and language skills to see if they are developmentally appropriate. If the speech-language pathologist suspects a delay or disorder a more comprehensive evaluation may be recommended.
Communicating Kids provides speech and language screenings for preschool, kindergarten, and elementary school children.
Communicating Kids welcomes inquiries from schools and daycares interested in providing speech and language screenings for their students. Screenings are a valuable resource your school can provide for busy parents. We are happy to offer a discounted rate of $25 per student screening to schools and daycares. Screenings are available to all students ages two and up.
